another make up blog
I shot the final round of tigers got talent. I wasnt supposed to but i am glad i got to go. It was actually really fun. My iso was 1000, aperture was 2.8 and my shutter speed varied. I used a 70-200. I was actually pleased with the way these turned out.
yearbook cover!
Ok so this is why i am so behind on blogs.... i have been filling in 500 and something pictures. They aren;t filled in on this one. this it what it looked like when i started and then it is full of pictures now! (i just cant open it cause someone is on it in yearbook) this is my baby. and if anyone messes it up. i wil hurt them. i worked too hard on this.
Make up blog
Catheriene needed me to take a picture of cameron bailey "conquering" senior year. So i came up with the idea of him stepping on books and i had to lay down on the nasty school floor. and everyone was staring. oh well.
Self Portrait
I got to mess around in my dads studio a little bit. I decided to keep it simple because I am a simple person. I had one idea that i didnt get to do though because it rained. I had two strobes. the one that was on me was set somewhere between 1/8 and 1/16. I couldn't really tell because it was a slider one and it didnt give me the exact power. I also chose to put them in black and white just because I think it gives a more dramatic effect and I am obssesed with black and white pictures anyway. I have a variety. I couldn't choose. But they were all shot at iso 100 f/ 5.6 and with a shutter speed of 1/100.
this was my set up.
This is me frustrated becuase i couldnt come up with a good idea.
This is just me beiing weird.
I know you can't see half of my face but i still like it
This is my normal self!
And last but not least....the "real" one

Hair Feathers!
This was for a spread in the yearbook. I took it with off camera flash with 1/16 power. My settings were iso400, f/4.0 and my shutter speed was 1/200. I had to do it real fast because I had something else I had to finish.

first basketball game
I shot basketball like two weeks ago but i have been so busy I just now got around to processing them. I was the big dummy and forgot to bring a shoe so we could set up our flashes special. So I just put it on my camera and bounced it off the ceiling. They turned out ok I guess. My iso was 1000 my aperture was 2.8 and my shutter speed was 1/250.

So many head shots!
We have to fit 400 people on the cover. I have probably taken over 25 head shots to put on the cover of the yearbook. they are in all different locations and different angles. I am stressed but everything is going to get done. its go time!

Preparing for 150 people
The culinary art class here at texas high is feeding the teachers tomorrow for thanksgiving. It was a photo assignment. MY iso was 1000, my aperture was 4.0 and my shutter speed was 1/250/. I guess im so attached to the picture i took last year(the one where i put the camera in the oven). i just really liked that picture and none of my other pictures for cooking classes will live up to it. They aren't super interesting but it shows what they are doing. Im taking more tomorrow when they are serving.

Last Game
This was one of the saddest things I have ever shot. We were winning in the first half and then just lost it in the second. All of the seniors were crying and some juniors. I should've gotten some really awesome pictures but mine are all crap. I was really disappointed with these, but then again its just a bad day. I hardly got any action shots and all my tear shots were blurry.
For these first two I used a flash with high speed sync. I had a 1600 ISO, f/2.0 and a 1/320 shutter speed.
These three make me want to cry. My iso was 1600, my f/ 2.8 and my shutter speed was 1/100 (which explains why they are blurry).

Emily loves Jordan!
Emily came to me today and asked me to take pictures of her holding multiple signs that spell out "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." This is just one of the pictures. She wanted them in black and white and the words in color. She is going to line them up in order and give them to him. awwwww!!! My iso was 800 my aperture was 8.0 and my shutter speed was 1/100.

Senior Pep-Rally
This was probably the worst pep rally i have shot all year. All my pictures were underexposed and I didn't have a long lens. My iso was 800 my aperture was 4.0 and my shutter speed varied fomr 1/ 100 to 1/250.

6 weeks Creeper Project
For my creeper project I decided to use my brother and dad. I used one flash and one constant light. My iso was 100 my f/ was 2.8 and i left my shutter open for 1 second since i had to expose for the background. I love my brother's face in all iof these pictures it cracks me up. the reason i used a constaant light and not another flash is because i asked my dad to bring home a light kit, but i didnt realize that meant poket wizards werent included so i had to use a flash to camera sync. ui am going to attempt it again with two flashes later on. But all in all i am happy with the way it turned out.

Another make-up blog! Homecoming game!
I was assigned to get a picture of patience's reaction for winning queen. My iso was 800 ,my f/ was 4.0 and my shutter speed WAS 1/350. I was also using on camera flash. I really wish I would have gotten a better reaction. I was shooting with them bigma. This is the series of pictures of her getting crowned.
make up blog- before Homecoming
One of the sections for this yearbook is "its all about where ya start" and they had the idea to do a story on girls who get their hair done before homecoming. I was running around like a mad woman trying to get my stuff don and trying to track down people getting their stuff done. Luckily brianna and riley are some of my good friends (:
