I had read this book and always really like the cover. My friend and I walked down to the dock and I had her sit with her legs hanging off. I couldn't figure out how to get a head on shot of her legs. But I ended up leaning of the dock with the camera strapped around my neck praying I wouldn't fall in. We hadn't rain in a long time so the lake was really low and her feet couldn't touch the water so to get the ripple effect I tossed a rock. The sun was just going down so I didn't have much time. The lighting on the water was what i needed to get the reflection.
