Painting With Light Semester Project

For my painting with light pictures I had to set my camera on a tripod. I set my iso to 100 and my aperture to 14. I left my shutter speed open for  30 seconds and traced her with a a flashlight. On the top picture I wanted to emphasize the letterman. The bottom one I wanted to make the Bible really stand out, so I stayed with my flashlight on it longer. I had a hard time trying to get her to stay still because my brother kept opening the door and letting light in and she would laugh. It ended up turning out pretty well. I wish her face wasn't so shiny. I had tried keeping the flashlight off of her but that didn't work.
